Some raindrops in the morning. Was busy walking through the Vredefort crater all day, the  largest verified impact crater on Earth with a diameter of approx 250 km.
Lots of green land, maize, maize and even more maize.  Helpful boers turning up in their bakkies offering water, phone numbers for emergencies. What a hospitable people! Morale was way better than yesterday. It started to rain heavily now. Good for the boers, might get challengig for tomorrow's program. Closed the day with some rich boerekos. Thanks to you all for comments and mental support! I appreciate that a lot.

Off the start - first days are well done Greg! Now it's about settling int that precious clockwork rhythm of day-in-day-out-getting-it-done. Good luck on that mantra, you can do it. High-5 Dani

Dani, I think of you often and ask myself how you must have fought your pro competitions. I found a good routine: Kill the street 5x5, or in other words: Walk for 5km, reward myself with quick break, walk for 5 km, ... But like you say; at the end it's only about getting up, getting out and getting it done.
